COPY HAHO - THIS RETRO DECADE

COPY HAHO are a four piece band from Stonehaven of the indie-guitar-pop movement. Vocals sung in a Scottish accent provided by Joe Hearty really give their music a sense of belonging. They overlay crisp, complicated, yet easy to listen to melodies created by lead guitarist Mini. Most songs are energetic and upbeat with fantastically chaotic choruses and thanks to driving, urgent percussion courtesy of Rikki, you find yourself flailing around to them in no time. The music they create is really quite accessible in that pretty much anyone with a shred of good taste will get into them. Songs to look out for are the fast-paced "Pulling Push-ups", the catchy "Wrong Direction" and "This Retro Decade" where the melodies really come into their own.
