WESTCOASTING - PART 2

After an eventful two days of driving involving the usual amount of 'never to be spoken again van chat' the vantilda massive left the awesome hospitality of the Vancouver skate mafia (thanks To Strato and Dario for putting us up). We were headed South to Portland. Hopes were high as were the hangovers. We arrived in Oregons second city around midday and after getting the low down on the best strip bars in town we headed where any self respecting skate road trip would - to Burnside. So with the welcome shade of the Highway above us we set to work. We were greeted by big trannies, locals who ripped and a semi empty skate mecca. First shout goes to the bowl basher manshell who so casually dropped the bowl and gave the coping a wee bash for good measure! PROPS!

Once again it was Haydn Morgan who really repped the 'deen, cruising lines all over the shop, before he set his sights on the unfinished side wall, where he did not comply to the building regulations, and popped out a wee cheeky, much to the delight of my fisheye and the onlooking sunbaked crew. So stoked to have seen and even rolled on the hallowed 'crete that is the one spot every DIY team should aspire to. Long live BURNSIDE! So with spirits re-stoked we all packed back in Vantilda with cries of "Onwards mein fuhrer!" and some christian hit pack volume 1 blazing in the speakers.....destination - Californ-I-A....
